Practice: Witness

About the Practice of Witness

Good news is meant to be shared, yet many of us find it difficult to speak openly about our faith in a culture that often treats belief as private and truth claims with suspicion. Still, Jesus’ invitation to bear witness remains as relevant today as ever. Through the Witness Practice, we will explore Jesus’ mission, motivation, and way of sharing the good news—growing in compassion for others, extending hospitality and friendship, and learning to express the gospel through both our words and our shared way of life. Witness requires courage, intentionality, and practice, but as we generously share the life we have found in Jesus, we may discover an even deeper life with him.

We’ll be using the resources from Practicing the Way. They have divided up the practice of witness into four sessions based on the practices of Jesus.

01 Begin with Love

02 Practice Hospitality

03 Partner with the Holy Spirit

04 Share the Good News
