The early church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, continued the mission of Jesus to usher in the Kingdom of God in their unique context. In this teaching series on the book of Acts, we observe how the Holy Spirit enabled them to carry forward the ministry of Jesus, and face the challenges both within and without. We have much to learn from the way they navigated the complexities of including those on the margins of society and those who were distinctly different from them into the family of God. The church today faces similar opportunities to work our faith.

Our growth groups are discussing the Sermon on the Mount using the Bible Project study resources to accompany this series in Acts.  In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus himself taught on what the Kingdom of God is like while in Acts, we see the early church learning to live it out.
