Your middle and high school years can be both an exciting and uncertain time. As you find your place in the world and discover your identity and opinions, we hope you’ll find friends and mentors among us to walk with you. Whether you’re asking big questions, or simply looking for friends who will accept you as you are, you are welcome here.

We’re teamed up with the youth group at Hope Lutheran in Daly City, so you’ll have the opportunity to meet lots of other young people.

At any given TYG get together, you can expect to have fun with friends, engage in thoughtful and age-relevant questions about faith and life, and find opportunities to discover new skills and receive mentorship.

Okay…so what does that really look like?

We really like to bond over food, playing games, and doing fun activities like bowling, riding rollercoasters, boogie boarding or going out to eat (yes, we do really love food). At least once a year, we go to camp together as well. Bring you ideas and your friends.

We get honest and curious – about God, about the Bible, about general life questions young people are asking. Whether you know the bible well or are brand new to it, it doesn’t matter. Jesus loved curious people willing to explore their questions honestly.

At TYG students are the dynamo. We adults are here to support and mentor you. We’re excited to give you opportunities to grow into new skills and run with your ideas. Want to learn to playing the guitar for the group? Organize a service project? Want to get some friends to zipline through trees with you? We are game to get behind you!
